Help to build a statewide multi-faith network
A network has the potential to accelerate the rate of social change. In these divisive and even dangerous times a state-wide multi-faith network is vitally needed. For the last year representatives of the Twin Cities Interfaith Network (TCIN) and the Saint Paul Interfaith Network (SPIN) have been working with the interfaith community to imagine what such a network would look like.
We are beginning with a vision:
A multi-faith, collaborative network of faith-based leaders and organizations that assists member groups in doing their work more effectively and serves as a catalyst for collaboration for greater social impact.
We are looking for people willing to put in some time to shape the hub of the network. These are designed to be short-term task groups to make recommendations about work going forward.
The questions we are looking to answer are:
- What technology do we need to expand our reach statewide?
- What communications methods will enhance the impact of the network?
- What fund strategies can build a sustainable base?
- Who can we convene around interest areas – poverty, racism, higher education, arts, women’s issues, greater Minnesota concerns – to build and enhance the relationships and trust needed for the network to be effective?
Two meetings are scheduled:
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Edina Community Lutheran Church (4113 W 54th St, Minneapolis, MN)
A light dinner will be served.
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul (1671 Summit Ave, St Paul, MN 55105)
